The Latvian Drama Therapy Association is a professional association that unites on the basis of the principle of voluntariness natural persons (members) – drama therapists and drama therapy students, and persons with a special status – both natural persons and legal entities, who use drama therapy methods and techniques in their work in healthcare, social care or education field.
Mission
Promote the development of the profession of drama therapist and drama therapy in Latvia and unite professionals who work in the health, social care and education sectors to promote the improvement of the physical, mental and social health of the population.
Goals
To carry out an activity of public benefit: an activity that provides a significant benefit to society and is aimed at promoting education, science and health and disease prevention – by developing, implementing and applying drama therapy both in the prevention of diseases and in the recovery process, rehabilitation and improving the quality of life in health care, social care and education field, while promoting the accessibility of drama therapy to society and contributing to the development of education and science in the field of drama therapy.
